| Abstract |
The main objectives of the Research were to identify level ornamental
horticultural producers (the Research, participants) information to
technical 'recommendations disseminated by agricultural exhibits; to
identify agricultural exhibit expected role, as perceived by the
research participants: to determine different obstacles that encounter
producers, of ornamental horticulture plants participated h)" agricultural
exhibits; and to identify suggestions of the Research participants that
may participate in activating role of agricultural exhibits, in
disseminating technical recommendations.
The Research was conducted during July, 2014 in villages of Benha,
Toukh, AI-kanater districts of Qalyoubia Governorate. Population of
ornamental horticulture plant producers, at the three district villages,
was used (120 producers). A Written questionnaire and face-to-face
. interviews were used in collecting the Research data. Frequencies
and percentages were used in analyzing the accrued research data.
The main research findings came as the following:
(1) It was found that 85% of the research participants were between
weak and medium concerning their technical recommendation awareness, disseminated by agricultural exhibits. The finding
implied necessity of activating role of agricultural exhibits in that
regard.
