MANUFACTURING MILK PRODUCTION IN QALIUBIA AND
QENA GOVERNORA TES

| Abstract |
This research aimed to determine significant difference between 'significant
dif 'erence between the mean degrees "knowledge needs for respondent in
manufacturing milk production in qaliubia and qena governorates& determine needs
knowledge level of rural women in the field of manufacturing milk production in
qaliubia and qena governorates& determine the relationship between the total degree
for Knowledge needs of rural women for technical recommendations in the field of
manufacturing milk production and between each of the studied independent variables
& to identify the problems which facing rural women in that area and proposing an
extension work plan to improve manufacturing milk production.
This research was conducted on 214 respondents who were selected
randomly and systematically to present 10% of farmer's wives participating mainly in
milk production process in two districts in qalybia and qena governorates.
Data were collected by using a questionnaire during August 2014,
frequencies, percentages, mean, range, standard deviation were used to present and
analysis study data, simple correlation coefficient, Chi and T test.
The main results are as follows:
1- level knowledge needs for recommendations of manufacturing for cottage
cheese& whey & Yogurt & cream& margarine were moderate with: 51.9%, 52,8%
,59,9% , 69,6% , 69,1 % , ,
2- in general level knowledge needs for recommendations of manufacturing milk
production was moderate with 59.3% .
3- no significant difference between mean deqrees knowledge needs for respondent
in manufacturing milk production production in qaliubia and qena.
4- There was significant relationship between the following variables: age, number of
family members, the number of animals milk, the number of years of experience in
the manufacture of milk production, amount of milk production in the week, and
weekly earnings of sale the milk production.
5- The most -important constancies facing the respondents in this field: high feed
prices in general, lack of knowledge of rural for milk producing fodder, lack yield
from the sale of milk production.
