English : Diffusion of Recycling Technology of Maize Crop Residuals into Organic Fertilizer in Some Villages in Ismailia Governorate

Abstract Study aimed to : determine diffusion level of recycling technology of Maize Crop Residuals into organic fertilizer among farmer respondents, also determine their listening sources about this technology, determine the correlation relationship between diffusion degree of recycling technology of Maize Crop Residuals into organic fertilizer and some of the studied independent variables, as well as to identify the obstacles which face respondents in diffusion of recycling technology of Maize crop residuals into organic fertilizer. The study was carried out in Ismailia Governorate on a simple random sample amounted 340 farmers representative 11.72% of the total study population in three villages i.e.: Abou Sweer EL-Mahatta , EL-Rouda and EL-Mahsmah EI- Qademah which were selected from districts of Abou Sweer, EL-Qantra Gharb and EL-Qassasseen respectively (both districts and villages were chosen according criterion of area cultivated with maize crop) .Data were collected through personal interview questionnaire during April and May 2014 ,arithmetic means ,and simple correlation coefficient were used to analyze data statistically, in addition to frequencies and percentages for showing the results. The main results of this study revealed that; 62.65%,28.53% ,and 8.82% of farmer respondents were lied in low, average ,and high categories concerning diffusion levels of recycling technology of Maize crop residuals into organic fertilizer. diffusion levels were high , average ,and low concerning both the listening stage, immoratire recommendations, and period of the first time listening and talking with the others about this technology. The most important sources of listening about recycling technology of Maize crop residual into organic fertilizer from farmer respondents points of view were: extension worker (42.35%), great farmers (40.88%), and agricultural supervisors (35.29%). There was significant relationship between diffusion level of recycling technology of Maize crop residuals into organic fertilizer as a dependent variable
