A comparative study of the efficiency of productivity and economic foreign broiler chicken farms and municipal enhanced (Alsaso) (case study of Gharbia Governorate)

| Abstract |
This study relied on two sources of data: first, preliminary data for a field study through a questionnaire designed to collect data were collected in Gharbia Governorate through personal interviews during lactation 2009 / 2010 (summer season 2009, winter 2010), and the other secondary data published and unpublished , as the study used methods descriptive and quantitative have included the study sample farms chicks feeding foreign capacity (initial 18 farms representing 85 cycle) and amplitude-second (87 farms representing 398 cycle) for each of the Center for Kotor and the Centre for Santah Gharbia
Governorate, and the chicks feeding Municipal Enhanced (44 farm a 191 course) the status of Tanta, Gharbia Governorate Center passion and a total of 149 farms representing the session of the 674 broiler farms selected at the level of Gharbia Governorate The following
are the results obtained from the most important:
Performance of the production of broiler chicks and foreign municipal improved
sample field study of Gharbia Governorate:
1) The average density birds / m 2: was about 9.73 to 9.65 - 9.66 to 9.82 birds / m 2
per chicken broiler farms foreign capacity first and second and Satin together and broilers
Municipal Enhanced (Alsaso) respectively and There are significant differences among them.
2) The average weight of the bird the end of the session / kg: total farms broilers foreign
capacity of the first and second and the total capacity of the first and second and chicken
broiler Municipal Enhanced (Alsaso) about (1.781 to 1.724 - 1.734 to 1.700 kg),
respectively, as the form number (13) has found significant differences at the level (0.01).
3) The average efficiency of food / bird / cycle: found a farmer broilers foreign
capacity of the first and second and the total capacity of the first and second and chicken
broiler Municipal Enhanced (Alsaso) about (1.932 to 1.976 - 1.968 to 2.148) respectively
were found significant differences at the level (0 0.01).
4) The average duration of the session / day: chicken broiler farms foreign capacity of
the first and second and the total capacity of the first and second broiler chicken farms and
municipal Enhanced (Alsaso) to (39.82 to 40.51 - 40.39 to 64.66 / day) respectively have
been found significant differences at the level (0.01).
5) Average coefficient of production efficiency: The total chicken broiler farms
foreign capacity of the first and second and the total capacity of the first and second broiler

respectively have found differences significant at the level (0.01).
The economic efficiency of broiler chick performance of foreign and municipal
Enhanced:
1) The average net income to (125.6 - 79.2 to 249.1 Egyptian pounds / 100 kg weight births),
and the net income margin was about (159.7 - 137.8 to 301.3 Egyptian pounds / 100 kg live
weight) for broilers foreign farms that produce more than 20 thousand birds / cycle, and
broiler chicken farms that produce less foreign than 20 thousand birds / cycle, and broiler
chicken farms Municipal Enhanced respectively.
2) The total income attributed to the total overall costs about (1.15 - from 1.09 to 1.28
Egyptian pounds) for each of the broilers foreign farms that produce more and less than 20
thousand birds / cycle and improved municipal broilers, respectively.
3) The average cost of production of kilograms live weight of broiler chicken farms that
produce more foreign and less than 20 thousand birds / cycle and improved municipal
broilers were estimated at around (8.65 - from 8.99 to 8.99 Egyptian pounds), respectively.
