English : Survey of mites and spiders associated with sate palm at El-Wahat El-Baharia oasis
Abstract The study proved prescience of 36 different mite species belonging to 33 genera in 18 families associated with date-palm at El-Wahat Oasis. From the survey study there were 3 widespread suborders namely Astigmata, Prostigmata and Mesostigmata. Suborder Astigmata include 6 species belonging to 3 families as Acaridae, Glycyphagidae and Tyroglyphidae. Suborder Prostigmata represented by 18 species in 10 families as Cunaxidae, Stigmaeidae, Camerobiidae, Cheyletidae, Bdellidae, Pseudocheyleidae, Raphignathidae, Tydeidae, Tetranychidae and Tenuiplapidae. However, suborder Mesostigmata included in this study 12 species belonging to 5 families as Laelapidae, Ascidae, Parasitidae, Rhodacaridae and Pachylaelpiade.On the other hand, the collected true spiders in this study were belonging to 12 families.
