| Abstract |
Illustrated identification keys are presented for soldiers and winged adults of seven termite species known from Egypt. These species are: Anacanthotermes ochraceus (Burm.), Psammotermes hybostoma Desneux, Reticulitermes lucifugus (Rossi), Amitermes desertorum Desneux, Microcerotermes eugnathus Silvestri, Cryptotermes brevis (Walker) and Kalotermes flavicollis (Fabricius). Synonymies, diagnosis, geographical distribution and habitat for each species are given.
