The results indicated the following :
-Five to six peaks were recorded for in the insect during the period from March to November
-The numbers of captured females were about twice that of males
- Significant positive correlation was found between temperature sun shine, and wind velocity in one and number s of captured adults in other side .Relative humidity showed negative correlation.
-four generation per year were recorded for the adults
- Significant positive correlation was found between number of damaged trees and the captured adults.
-The combined effect of both sugarcane stem or sugarcane honey were more attractive capturing than pheromone alone .
- pheromone release was increased by increasing and wind velocity while decreased humidity.
- The maximum potenional of cogenesis in ovaries of captured females was recorded during August .
