English : Certain ecological studies on some pests attacking tea seedling in Egypt.
Abstract This research was conducted for the inventory of pests infesting seedling tea and changes the numerical top five types of them under the environmental conditions for Qaliubiya (farm Bahteem) for the first time in Egypt and that for two consecutive years in December 1998 to December 2000 and can be summarized results obtained are as follows: 1 - 12 species were counted from pests belonging to 8 families and 5 times. 2 - the most important of these species can cause economic damage to the crop five types: cotton Aphis gossypii Glov. TRIPs cotton Thrips tabaci Lind. , WhiteflyBemisia tabaci (Genn.) , And red spider with Bakotain Tetranychus urtica (Koch.) , And corn Myzus persicae (Sulz) . 3 - appeared higher injury including cotton during the period from March to May accompanied Bakmtin Addtan (128,309 person / 25 sheets), on March 8, April 8,respectively in season 98/1999, (396.303 insect / 25 sheets) in March 24, 23 April respectively in season 99/2000. 4 - appearing first TRIPs was early March numbers low in both seasons and then increased census quickly composed three peaks numerical was highest 378 insect / 25 paper on April 23, in the first season 0.321 insect / 25 sheets on May 8 in the second season. Then decreasing census even disappeared in November in bothseasons. 5 - existed whitefly in small numbers in the end of August and then increased to summit numerical medium in the first week of September while the highest peak numerical 41 larvae / 25 sheet on October 5 season first. While in the second season has emerged insect in large numbers in October and until December. was the highest peak numerical 84 larvae / 25 paper on October 5. 6 - red spider presence on seedling tea in the period from February to July during the seasons in large numbers relatively. Arrived census mobile phases for the spider to the maximum count her (Summit numerical one) 28 Items / paper on May 23 in the first season, while he was 23 individual / paper in the second season. This study aims to inventory of insects that attack tea seedlings (future crop in Egypt). Initial knowledge of the most important of these pests economically and numerical relationship between density and environmental conditions in order to intervene to reduce the run in the tea fields.
