Abstract Six groups of healthy NewZealand rabbits (10 rabbits/group) were used in the present study. The first group was vaccinated with clostridial enterotoxaemia bloat vaccine; the second group received a mixture of sulphaquinoxaline, sulphadimidine and amprolium hydrochloride in a ratio of 1:1:1 dissolved in water (1gm/liter) 4 days before vaccination. The third group received a mixture of sulpha with the first dose of vaccination. The fourthgroup was given a mixture of sulpha with the second dose of vaccination. The fifth group was treated with a mixture of sulpha only while the sixth group was left without vaccination and without sulpha 4 days before or with the first dose of vaccination wit clostridial enterotoxaemia bloat vaccine resulting in a high level of protection against coccidiosis and enterotoxaemia at the same time.
