| Abstract |
This study mainly intended to determine farmers knowledge and implementation leveles of cotton and wheet crops in the reclaimed lands, and the suitable extension methodes to farmers in this season.
A questionnaire was prepared and used to collect data through persona! interviews from 229 respondents (7% from total graduates and reclaimed lend beneficiary). Percentages, arithmetic mean, frequency distribution tables, slander 0 Deviation and "T" test were utilized as statistical methodes in analyzing and presenting the research data The major findings could be summarized as follows: Low knowledge and implementation levels of the respondents (Graduates and Reclaimed land beneficiary) concerning new technical practices of cotton and wheel crops.
The majority of the respondents have positive attitudes towards agricultural work and stay in new local socities.
The field visits and demonstration fields were ranked first as extension methods in the new local socities studied.
