| Abstract |
The study alined mainly to identify some factors affecting knowledge and implementation levels of respondents for utilizing farm straw for anemail Nitration in Karr El-Marazka and Ktor Villages.
Data were collected by questionnaire from 141 respondents (about 5% of the total respondents in the two villages. Percentages, frequency distribution. simple correlation, multiple regression were utilized as statistical methods.
The results of this study showed that:
- Knowledge and implementation levels of respondents were lower in the treatment of straw by urea, the treatment of straw by ammonia, and making silage of sugar beet straw.
-'the independent variables of this study explain about 82% of the total variation respondents knowledge levers.
- The independent variables of that study explain about 13.6% of the total variation respondents implementation levels.
- there were apositive correlation and statistically significant between respondents knowledge level for utilizing from farm straw and the following independent variables: Size of animal holding, cosmopoliteness, opinion leader ship, information source, attitude towards utilizing from farm straw, social participation, New practices hearing rang, New practices implementation rang.
- There were a positive correlation and statistically significant between respondents implementation level for utilizing farm straw and the following independent variables: Size of animal holding, opinion leader ship, New practices hearing rang, New practices implementation rang, summer cultivation green area, Cosmopaliteness, attitude towards utilizing farm straw.
