Abstract This study aimed to identify the problems of fish aquaculture which face fish farms householders at Kafr El- Sheikh Governorate And determinate communication sources which fish farms householders obtain knowledge about aquaculture and depended on when they exposure to this problems. Aquestionnaire was used to collect the data through personal interviews with a systematic random sample consisted of 110 respondents in two villages ( Damro at Sedy Salem And khshaa at Baltem) . in kafr EI-Sheikh Governorate. Percentages, frequencies, arithmetic means, standard deviation were used to analyze the data statistically. The most important results of this study were as follows: 1-the problems which face fish farms householders consists of six groups as follows: the management problems occupy the first group of the problems, the second group was production problems, the third was the environment aquaculture problems, extension problems occupy the fourth group, fish fry problems occupy the five group, Finally, marketing; problems com last. 2-Important communication sources which fish farms householders depended on to obtain knowledge about aquaculture and depended on when they exposure to this problems was: nearby, friends, families, agricultural agent, cooperative director.
