Some Variables Related to Rural Family Decision Making at Met Asem Village Kalubia Governorate

Abstract |
The study aimed at identifying the participation of rural family members in making home and farm decisions, differences between males and females participation and determining variables related to the process of decision making. A random sample of 300 respondents (150 males, 150 females) was chosen. Pearson's correlation coefficient, 1 lest and Step — Wise were used for data analyzing.
Results showed that males were more participating than females regrinding farm decision. The opposite was true concerning the home decision. Cosmopoliteness, leadership degree, organizations membership were the most variables which explained the variance of rural family members participation in farm decisions, whie respondents age, family education average and respondents Cosmopoliteness were more clearance regarding farm decisions.
