| Abstract |
The relationship between antigen distribution in the external outer phase and internal water in oil (W/O) phase of inactivated Newcastle disease virus (NDV) vaccine was studied. Four batches were prepared with antigen content 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% of the internal W/O phase. The vaccines were evaluated after experimental vaccination of four equally groups of susceptible chicks. Vaccine evaluation depended mainly upon the haemagglutination inhibition (HI) and challenge test. Vaccine batch number 3 that prepared with 50% antigen content in both the external and internal (W\O) phase was more potent as a high HI antibody titer and a good protection percentage was obtained, and this study proved that this ratio of antigen distribution was preferably for preparation of water in oil in water inactivated NDV vaccine
