Abstract An epidemiological investigation was carried out to study the level of RVF disease after the last epizootic in Egypt at 1993. serum samples during year 2000 were collected from cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats vaccinated with inactivated RVF vaccine from different governorates in Egypt. From the results it clears that. The total protection percentage in animals was good (77,24%) and indicated big effort done by general organization of veterinary services. The infectivity (9.73%) indicates the presence of circulating RVF virus, while the susceptibility was (13.11%) indicates that some animals escaped RVF vaccination or the presence of some immune- suppressive diseases. Continuous vaccination program are required using inactivated RVF vaccine at least two doses (3-4 weeks interval) and the annually as revaccination dose.
