| Abstract |
A combined inactivated bivalent oil vaccine against Newcastle and avian reoviruses was prepared. The vaccine was evaluated in susceptible chicken. Blood samples were collected every week for intervals post vaccination for evaluation of the humoral immune response against Newcastle and avian reovirus using Serum neutralization test and Haemagglutination Inhibition tests for both viruses respectively. The vaccinated chicks were submitted to challenge tests against both viruses. The prepared vaccine was efficient, safe, potent and protective against both viruses.
