| Abstract |
Inactivated infectious bronchitis (IB), avian encephalomyelitis (AE) and egg drop syndrome (EDS) virus vaccines were prepared as monovalent and trivalent oil emulsion vaccines. Monovalent vaccines were evaluated in chickens, compared with trivalent vaccine. Evaluation of humoral immune response was carried out as seroconversion for blood samples was taken at weekly intervals using haemagglutination inhibition test. ELISA and serum neutralization tests. The results proved that the locally prepared trivalent (IBV+ AEV+ EDS) inactivated vaccine was safe immunogenic and produced satisfactory dual protection against IB , AE and EDS virus infections.
