| Abstract |
In this study infectious laryngotrachitis virus (ILT) was propagated on three different types of cell cultures. African green monkey cell line (Vero) baby hamster kidney cell line (BHK) and primary chicken embryo fibroblasts (CEF). Titration of all passages were carried out on the same type of cell culture.
Equal groups of 10 weeks old chicks (30 for each) were inoulated intraocular by the propagated ILT virus on the different types of cell cultures as well as the virus propagated on SPF eggs. Both humoral and cellular immunity were estimated by using ELISA, SNT and lymphocyte blastogenesis assay respectively.
