| Abstract |
Formalized inactivated duck hepatitis virus (DHV) vaccine was prepared using alhydragel as adjuvant in different percents (47.36%, 50%, 55.5% and 60%) for dtermination the optimum concentration of alhydragel for virus adsorption (it was 55.5%). This vaccine was evaluated in ducklings for 10 weeks. Evaluation of humoral abd cellular immune responses were done using serum neutralization test (SNT) ,enzyme linked immunosrobent asay (ELISA) and lymphocyte blastogenesis, respectively. These tests proved that the preapred vaccine gave higher level of immunity. So, it can be used to protect ducklings against duck virus hepatits (DHV) disease.
