English : Required measures for production of newcastle disease vaccines from the locally embryonated chicken eggs
Arabic : ضوابط احتياجات تحضير لقاحات النيوكاسل من أجنة البيض المحلى للدجاج
Abstract Running warm water was used for washing the embryonating chicken eggs as their fumigation wiht any level of formaldhyde gas is not recommended as it may kill the developing embryos. The use of quaternary ammonium compound may affect the functional properities of the egg shell with respect to water loss and gas exchange. The passaged veruses from the original F and B1 newcastle disease virus strains could be used for the preparation of the vaccines with high titer viruses. It is recommended to use the frozen seed material instead of the freeze-dried one for the preparation of vaccines as the freeze drying proccess damages the virus.
