Abstract Proximate analysis, amino acid determination, digestibility and feeding trials were conducted in the present study assess the nutritive value of Radicel (RL) for broiler chicks. Data showed that RL contains 25.93% crude protein. The amino acid contents of RL revealed that the four limiting amino acids were arginine, methionine, lysine and isolucine respectively. The indirect digestibility train; using fayoumi adult cocks; revealed that RL-protein had a digestion coefficient of 81.3%and the determined metabolizable energy(ME) value of RL was found to be 2110 kcal/kg. In the feeding experiment using anak 2000 broiler chicks, RL was used in the experimental diets at levels of 10,14 and 18 % without or with addition of kemzyme (KZ) at 0.05% level. The results showed that 14% RL in broiler diets without or with KZ resulted in better performance and economic efficiency than the other RL- containing diets. No significant differences were detected in carcass characteristics among treatments. Keywords: broiler, radicel, nutritive value.
