Detection of the efficiency of immunization of ewes against charcoal – treated buffalo follicular fluid by agar gel diffusion test
Abstract |
Active immunization of Barki ewes against charcoal- treated buffalo follicular fluid (Bff) was proven to be effective-in increasing the ovulation rate as well as giving birth to twins. The efficiency of immunization was detected by the agar gel diffusion (Precipitation) test, AGPT. The broad band of precipitation showed full intensity and differentiation after injection of the second dose of the immunogen that reflects both the antibody titer and peak in the sera of the immunized ewes.
