| Abstract |
A new approach to the diagnosis of brucellosis, to detect the infection in plasma and whole blood taken on anticoagulant beside serum, using other aspect of old antigen milk ring test (MRT) and with some modification in the type and percentage of the stain. The new usage of the antigen was performed on whole blood, plasma and serum (139 from each)collected from cattle, sheep, goats and camels, compared with the results with ELISA Microgglutination (MAT) Buffered acidified plate (BAPA) and Rose Bengal (RBPT). The results were comparable in high titre, in moderated and lesser reactions there were false positive with RBPT and BAPA on whole blood and plasma which were excluded in case of MRT and modified one m MRT, results were discussed.
