Serosurveillance of FMD in camels, Sheep and goat In area of Halayib and shalateen.

| Abstract |
Serological surveys were done in the area of Halayib, Shalateen and AboRamad Triangle including a total of 800 sera from camel, sheep and goats collected to follow up the epidemiology of FMD in these animals and to investigate their rule in disease transmission. These samples were tested using serum neutralization test (SNT) and sandwich ELISA. Confirmation of the disease free and carrier animals in positive serum samples was done by using non-b structural proteins 3 ABC commercial kit, followed by PCR technique. The results showed that animals susceptibility to FMD were 100% 96.3% and 95.7% among examined camels, sheep and goats respectively.
