Effect of antimicrobials administration of immune response of vaccinated animals with brucella vaccines in egypt.

Abstract |
Three vaccinal strains (Brucella abortus strains 19 and RB51 and Brucella melitensis strain Rev1) in addition to the local field strain (Brucella melitensis biovar 3) were tested for their sensitivity to several antibiotics to advice about their capability as bactericidal effect on brucella organism in brucella vaccines. If the antibiotics used for curing the practitioner infected during the course of vaccination or parturition or abortion or trials for treatments. All tested Brucella vaccinal strains in addition to brucella melitensis biovar 3 were sensitive to Amoxillin, Cefachlor, Ciproflaxin, Quinolones, Gentamycin, Oxytetracycline. Vaccinal strain Brucella abortus RB51 was resistant to Doxycycline and Rifampicin. Interpretation of biogram of brucella vaccines and field strains were discussed.
