| Abstract |
A video-tape is considered one of the important and effective educational communication in the Extension work, and it is one of the communication methods that have many communicational advantages, It is can present sound, picture and motion of a varied subject recorded on a magnetic tape
The effectiveness of video -tape recording depends on the sort of treatment for the message that carried on it, and includes many technical elements to send the aimed message and increase the understanding of it.
Mainly, the target of this research is to know the agricultural extension workers awareness for the technical elements of educational video-tape in marketing the strawberry product in Sharqia Governorate. That will be through their opinions and suggestions to increase the quality of the technical elements in producing future video tapes.
To fulfill the study objectives will was used one versions of video-tapes were prepared containing the same information the marketing of the Strawberry Crop of citrus in one treatment: visual discussion.
The study was conducted on a sample of 120 the agricultural guides representing the total of the agricultural guides in the biggest 3 centers strawberry producers in the governorate: El- Salihia El Gadida, Mashtool El Souq and Belbais .
The research depends on the collected data via an interview — questionnaire, is especially prepared to achieve the objectives of the research and pre-tested in the middle of March 2006 and the main data is collected during June — July 2006.
Data were collected and tabulated using, The statistical tools frequencies, percentages, averages, and the other Statistics parameters
The results of the study could be summarized as follows:
Firstly: Investigating the opinion of the agricultural guides for the technical elements of educational video- tape contents in marketing the strawberry product, The preferred elements are ordered as:
- The picture element was the highest by 83.36%, and the minimum was film shots element by 33.76 % .
- Timing : Preferred duration of a video- tape was seen
by the respondents (68.23%) to be the reasonable time 15-20 minutes.
Secondly : The Suggestions of Agricultural extension workers to improve the quality of the technical elements that should the educational video- tape have included:

has included — some items as following:
Format Incoming, Guests, Subject, Extensional treatment, film shots and Direction, but Subject, Sound element and the
visual picture element there were no Suggestions for them
