Knowledge impact of technical pamphlets concerning biological control on pests insects: a study on agricultural extension agents.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify knowledge impact of technical pamphlets concerning biological control, to determine respondent, attitudes towards biological control and to identify respondent recogonizing about some pictures including Pests Insects biological control technical pamphlets The sample of this study is consisted of 120 extension agents, they were chosen randomly from El Fayoum governorate. Frequencies, percentage, standard deviation, T test were used to analyze data. The most important findings were as follow: 1- According to " T " test, there was significant differences at level 0.01 between respodents knowledge average ( T test was 43.96). 2- The average of respondents knowledge has increased as result due to showing technical pictures (it was 34.78 between showing picures it becomes 49.86 after showing). 3-About 85% of respondend had poisitive attitudes toward biological control, none had negative attiudes. 4- About 67.5% of respondents had high knowledge of some pictures on concerning biological control ; 32.5% had moderate knowledge and none had low knowledge.
