| Abstract |
Immune responses were measured for 12 weeks following vaccination of buffalo heifers with either S.19 or S.RB51 vaccines . No Brucella abortuse antibodies titer could be detected in serum of buffalo heifers vaccinated with S.RB51 vaccine either by using microagglutination test or by using ELISA technique . At the same time brucella antibody titers inserum of buffalo heifers vaccinated with S19 expressed as geometric mean titre( GMT) where 260, 98 and 65 at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks respectively when measured by microagglutination test. by using ELSA technique the humoral immune response was 34, 29 and 20 enzyme immunoassay(EIA) units at 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks respectively. concerning cellular immuneresponse, results obtained inbuffalo vaccinated with either S .19 or RB51 vaccine as shown by results of lymphocyte blastogenesis test and measurement of phagocytic activity
