English : Effect of some antibodies on the immune response developed against rev-1 vaccine in guinea pigs
Abstract In the present study five groups of guinea pigs each of 14 animals were vaccinated with B.melitensis Rev 1 vaccine four of which were treated with antibodies first, second, third and forth were given pencillin, streptomycin, rifampin and doxycycline respectively for 2 weeks started from the day of vaccination and the fifth group was left as vaccinated non treated with antibodies control. Six weeks afetr thearpy each group was challenged with B.meltinesis 16M. It was found the effect of tissue penetrating antibodies as rifampin and doxycycline on the vaccine. The efficacy of Rev1 as a vaccine was evaluated against treatment with antibodies and compared with the control group non treated with antibiotic for humoral and cell mediated immune response.
