English : Effect of some antiparasitic drugs on the immune response of dogs to the inactivated rabies vaccine

Abstract As an interesting subject, the effect of the three antiparasitic drugs on the immune response of dogs vaccinated by inactivated rabies vaccine, was studied. The tested drugs include Levamizol as anti-internal parasite, Dectomax as anti-external parasite and Imizol as anti blood parasite. The study was carried out on eleven groups and subgroups of mice. (20 mice/group or subgroup)and 10 groups and subgroups of puppies (3puppies/group or subgroup).where the effect of each drugs was tested in an animals group administrated eihter one week before or simultaneoulsy or one week afetr vaccination, with the cell culutre inactivated rabies vaccine. The results showed that Dectomax has no effect on the immune response of dogs, while Levamizol has an immune stimulant effect, Whoever Imizol administration was found to an immunosuppressive.
