English : Heavy metals residues in milk, drinking water and Tissues and its impaction on animal health

Abstract A total of twenty water samples and fifty milk samples were collected from Baher El-Baker area at Sharkia province as well as tissues and blood samples from fattening animals at the same area were colleeted.lead, cadmium, copper and zinc were determind in water, milk and tissues by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Chemical analysis of water samples revealed that the residual level of lead, cadmium. copper and zinc were 0.910,0.242,0.142 and 0.328 ppm respectively: for milk were1.910, 0.214,0.130and 1.980ppm repectively : for kidney were,0.110,0.338and 78.5 ppm respectively : for liver were 0.923,0.328,0.212and 97.13ppmrespectively and for muscles tissues were 0.385,0.085,0.105and 63.65 ppm respectively. the kidneys revealed leucocytic infiltration in the peeriglomerular area and coagulative necrosis of epithelial cells lining the renal tubules in cortical ,Thus it is recommended that the drinking water as well as diet for domestic animals be fulfil the hygienic standards and examined regularly for detection of any polluant. further more, careful evaluation of animal products should be out to safeguard the consumers.
