Effect of Somatotropin Adminstration to Dairy Cows on the Hematological and Some Liver and Kidney Function Tests

| Abstract |
ABSTRACT
The effect of using two doses of somatotropin on blood picture and some biochemical parameters as represented by liver and kidney functions tests in primiparous and multifarious cows were studied, it was found that the 250 mg dose has - so far- very little effect especially in primiparous cows. The 500 mg dose has some effects especially in multiparous cows. The changes were not deleterious and remained for the most cases within the normal ranges.
