Arabic : تقيم المناعة الموضعية الناتجة عن التحصين بلقاحات كوليرا الطيور
Abstract A local immune response against fowl cholera disease could be induced in group of Duck vaccinated via air sac on intranasally by formalized heat inactivated on sonicated P.multocida vaccines. By conducting indirect fluorescent antibody tevhnique (IFAT) secretory IgA antibodies could be detected in tracheal or lung tissue sections. also these secretory IgA antibodies were detected in nasal swabs collected from vaccinated ducks. Anti P.multocida IgG antibodies could also be detected in tissue sections of vaccinates.Histopathological examination of trachea and lungs of vaccinated ducks revealed cellular infilteration with lymphocytes and monocytes documenting the local immune response. Alsa circulating IgG antibodies were detected by ELISA in sera of vaccinated ducks. Data obtained indicated teh superiority of sonicated vaccine. Vaccination against fowl cholera via air sac or intranasally is not a substitution for routine bacterin vaccination. but it rather can be considered as a complementary mean and also a substitution of using hazardous living vaccines.
