| Abstract |
Genus Aphytis Howard is an ectoparasitiod of armored scale insects and widely known as effective biological control agent in Egypt. Twenty two species of the genus Aphytis were recorded as a parasitoids of twenty species of armored scale insects. A, chrysomphali (Mercet) and A.mytilaspidis (Le Baron) were recorded as a parasitoids with the largest range of species of armored scale insects (5 species). Many species of Aphytis were recorded as a parasitoids of specific species of armored scale insects.
