English : A Study of Agricultural Extension Workers Efficiency Utilizing Extension Methods in the Agricultural Extension Centers at Some of Delta Governorates,A.R.E

Abstract The main objective of this research is to study Ag. Ex. Workers efficiency utilizing extension methods in the agricultural Shiekh, El Garbia . extension centers at governorate El Behira, Kafr El and El Sharkia, A.R.E To accomplish the main objective four specific objectives were investigated : 1- To study some traits and characteritus respondents. 2- To determine efficiency of respondents using extension methods. 3- To study the impact of some independent variables regarding respondents efficiency in using extension problems which face . methods. 4- To determine the major respondent in using extension methods Data were collected from 118 respondents by using a questionnaire through personal interview in the selected ag. ex. centers. Percentages, standard deviation, and simple correlation, multi correlation and multi regression, chi-square test, Phi coefficient statistical analysis . of contingency, Cama Test were utilized as methods. The main findings of the study were:Research results indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between respondents efficiency of using extension methods and each of the following variables: age, achievement sort and satisfaction of agricultural work with :coefficient multi correlation of 0.620 and coefficient with multi .egression of 0.385. Significant correlation was found between respondents efficiency using extension methods and each of the following variables : educational certificate, educational specialization, pre-job, extension experience, training programs, frequency of visits of local leaders . farmers to agricultural extension centers, contact with at 0.01, 0.05 levels The major problems facing respondents in their using extension methods were lack of incentives, and shortage in using extension methods, shortage of computer and equipments, and shortage of training programs. Their suggestions to solve such problems were : increasing the incentives for respondents, upporting of using extension methods,, aids and computers equipments as well as conducting more training programs for ag. agents working in Ag. Ext. Centers.
