| Abstract |
This research aimed to identify importance degree of using and activity training methods for developing knowledge of local agricultural extension viewed by agricultural extension and training in field of producing cotton crop, and al so identifying significance of differences among the studied training methods regarding stages of cotton crop producing besides identifying factors help to improve efficiency of training of local agricultural extension agents in field of cotton corp producing.
Three governorates from Meddle Delta were chosen to carry out this study, which were Kafr El-Sheikh, El-Gharbia, and Dakahlia. Study data were collected form about 90 A.E.A respondents by using a pretested interview questionnaire through jule and august 2005 (the chosen sample presenting ail specialists of cotton crop and control monanagement) who train local agricultural extension agents in field of producing cotton crop in the three studied governorates.
Some statistical methods were used to analyze and show data such as averaged degree, Friedman analysis of variance by ranks in addition frequencies.
The main resuits revealed that:
1- The demonstration method (Technique) was the best using training for
developing knowledge of local agricultural extension agents in field of cotton crop producing.
2- The demonstration method (Technique) was come in the first rank as atraining technique in the three studied stages of producing cotton crop.
3- There are asignificant differences among stages of producing cotton according to importance degree of the training techniques using for developing knowledge of local agricultural extension agents.
4- The main factors help to improve and raise efficiency of training process of
local agricultural extension agents in field of producing cotton crop were, select the suitable training subject accoding to the trainee need, donating monetary incentives for training process, and organize training through the different stages of producing cotton crop.
