| Abstract |
Sixty five turkey 1 to 28 week old , Suffering from diarrhoeawere collected from different farms at North Sinai Governorate and were subjected to clinical post mortem examination and bacterial isolation , the study revealedthat 7 bacterial isolatesof Compylobacter . Jejuni wereisolated, Morphologically and biochemically identified and biotypedasbiotype 1(5) and biotypela(2) isolates, the incidence of compylobacterinfection in turkey was 11% in this study Bloodand serum samples were colectedat the7th 15th and 21days post infection to study the hematological andbiochemical changes , the bloodpicturein group 1revealed normocyticnormochromic anemiawuth leucopania characterizedby granulocytopnia , while in group 2which infectedwith canmpylobacter Jejuni , showed macrocytic hypochromic anemia in uric acudand creatinine All campylobacter Jejune isolates were found to be highly sensitive to gentamycin, colistin sulphate, flumequine and Oxytetracycline .
