| Abstract |
A total of 75 milk samples were collected from grazing goat herds in three different places North Sinai, fayoum and Behaira in Egypt Where more than 60 % of owner of these goats had ahabit of consumption of fresh goat,s milk and close animal cntact All samples were screened by milk ring test (MRT) by testing milk samples for antibodies against Brucella . Brucella melitensis biotype 3 was successfully isolated from three cases (4%) in north sinai, two cases (2.66%) in fayoum and from one case(1.33%) in Behaira The detection of Br. melitensis antibodies was accomplished by bacterial isolation for demonstration of the organism in goat,s milk samples Dot- ELISA IS used as a confirmed test for diagnosis of Br. melitensis in Milk samples .
