| Abstract |
The ovicidal, ova-larvicidal activities and effect of sublethal concentrations of spinosad against Helicoverpa armigera were studied under laboratory condition. Data revealed that one day old eggs less susceptible to spinosad than two days old eggs. The percentages of hatched alive larvae and hatched eggs were increased with concentrations decreased, while positive correlation was noticed between the concentrations used and percentages of hatched larvae dead as well as non hatched eggs. The LCSO value of larval percentage mortality was 0.56 ppm. The larval mortality percentages were decreased with the concentrations decreased, while percentages of pupation and moths' emergence were increased. The larval and pupal duration were prolonged significantly and insignificantly, respectively.
