| Abstract |
The main objectives of this research were to: identify cooperation level between the Egyptian agricultural organization and irrigation organization at the local level; identify available forms of cooperation between the two studied organizations; identify the level of conflict sources between the two studied organizations as perceived by the respondents, and identify the respondents suggestions for supporting the relationship between the two studied organizations at the local level.
The study population was composed of 165 respondents working in menoufiya governorate. The study population enclosed all agricultural extension workers in relation with the administration of lands and water, at the governorate level, and all the agricultural administrations in districts {110 agricultural extension worker), and all irrigation engineers affiliated to irrigation administration (55 engineers).
The data were collected by using a pretested questionnaire and personal interviews. Frequencies, weighted mean, and percentage were used for analyzing data statistically. The main research findings as follows:
1- Cooperation level between the two-studied organization was medium, with a mean of 64.51 {relative mean of 73.24'/). This finding reflected a need for creating new mechanisms for raising cooperation level between the two studied organizations.
2- About 55%. of the respondents mentioned that the available cooperation form is almost similar to the formal one, while the rest (45%) viewed that the available cooperation form between the two studied organizations were closer to the non- formal one. This
implied that the two forms of cooperation's (formal - non formal) are available in the relationship between the two studies organizations.
3- The available conflict sources level between the two studied organizations was medium in general with a mean of 37.46 (relative mean of 58.53%). This finding implied that there was a significant part of conflict sources between the two studies organizations.
4- The respondents proposed 16 suggestions for supporting the cooperation relationship between the two studies organizations. Six recommendations were accrued from the research findings as a way to support cooperation relationship between the two studied organizations.
