Abstract it is the first attempt allover egypt to evaluate fish fecundity influenced by some pathogens Apparently healthy matured male Oreochromis niloticus collected from Alow productive farm testes squash preparations revealed presence of two pathogenic cystic forms : A- ichthyophnus hoferi ( I. hoferi ) : thick walled multinucleated cysts or scattered spores in testes tissues confirmed by isolation in MEM containing 10% foetal bovine serum at low pH B- Eimeria spp: white nodules variable in ize between testicular tissues contain fragile walled oocysts with two sporozoites diagnosed microscopically Milt comparison between infection and a parasitic free group another farm revealed highly significant decrease ( p0.001 ) in milt physical properties as osmolatlity sperm density and liver spermatozoa percentage viscosity changed from creamy viscous to clear watery with volum decrease milt chemical constituents showed highly significant decrease in total protein and sodium with highly moderately significant increase in glucose urea calcium potassium concentrations Coccidia treatment proved complete parasite eradication without significant fish fecundity improvement
