Abstract out of 93 clinically positive pneumonic lungs of slaughtered camels 68 cases were culturally positive for both fungal and bacterial infection pathological studies revealed 4 types of opeumonia including granulomatus pneumonia ( 3 cases. 3.8%) due to Aspergillus fumigatus infection haemorrhaic pneumonia ( 35 cases 44.9%) and occurred due to fungal infection in ( 8 cases ) concurrently mixed bacterial and fungal infection ( 2cases) and due to bacterial infection alone in (25 cases ) Nercotizing pneumonia ( 38 cases 48.7%) and occurred due to fungal infection in ( 6 cases ) mixed fungal and bacterial infection in ( 4 cases ) and bacterial infection alone in (27 cases ) fibrinous pneumonia due to pasteurella haemolytica infection was recorded in ( 2 cases 2.6 %) correlation between the causative agents and pathological entities in each type of pneumonia was studied and discussed in details mycological examination showed that 25.8%of the examined cases revealed positivcor spp ( 5.5% ) and yeasts ( 2%) bacteriological examination revealed that ( 64.5% ) of the examined cases were culturally postivie for bacterial isolates ( 44.1% ) yielded single bacterial isolates and ( 20.4% ) yielded mixed bacterial isolates . the main bacterial isolates were S aureus ( 18.99% ) S pneumoniae ( 17.72% ) Actinomyces pyogenes ( 8.86% ) micrococci ( 7.60% ) non haemolytic streptococci ( 2.53% ) klebsiella pneumoniae ( 15.19% ) pseudomonas aeruginosa ( 5.10% ) E. coil ( 10.13%) and pasteurella haemolytic ( 2.53% ) while C. haemolyticum and y. enterocolitica were isolated for the first time from pneumonic lung of camel . the in vitro antibiotic sensitivity test for each the isolated bacterial isolates were discussed in details
