Abstract |
In farm examination for three samples of mature buffaloes in dairy farms located in different areas of Egypt were studied for determining the physical dimensions of the main parts of the mature buffaloes bodies. Mathematical analysis technique was used for analyzing the natural motions of main parts of buffaloes bodies as bio-mechanical systems. Schematic diagrams for the main parts of the body, the horizontal and the vertical motions of both neck and head, and the main parts of both the fore and the back limbs were graphically prepared. The maximum, the minimum, and the average values of the physical dimensions, weights, and ages were quantitatively determined. Relationships among ages and body physical dimensions of the buffaloes were mathematically determined. Relationships. Among weights and body physical dimensions of the buffaloes were, mathematically determined. The whole data were statistically analyzed for determining the significance of the remarked differences of the physical dimensions of some main parts, and for determining least significant difference of the averages of some main parts for lactating, dry, and bulls. Horizontal and vertical movements of the main parts were quantitatively determined. Other studies were carried out for using the derived mathematical equations and to sum up data dealing with the physical dimensions of the buffaloes body main parts for putting suitable alternatives of the buffaloes stall design as main conclusion.
