Arabic : مدى تواجد ميكروب الباسيلس سيرس المعزول من الاعلاف
Abstract In the present study , the incidence of B. cereus was investigated in 400 feedstuff samples (250 animal origin and 150 plant origin ) and it was 48% and 39% respectively . B. cereus counts ranged from 100 - 1000000 CFU /g feed B. cereus isolates were characterized with respect to their biochemical profiles antimicrobial susceptibility and pathogenicity test The biochemical profiles of all the isolates were similar regardless of their source . However , some degree of variability was shown in the voges proskauer , growth in presence of 40% bile and Nitrate reduction test the most effective antibiotics was gentamicin 100% folowed by tetracyclineThe pathogencitiy assay revealed that the diarrheal infection caused by B. cereus in mce was significantly The preactical significance of the present study reveals that, the possibility and risk of animals and human disease .
