| Abstract |
Groups of 90 naturally infested O. niloticus fish were collected and examined for external protozoa and monogenetic flukes. The prevalence of isolated protozoa showed higher infestation rates, with Trichoida ( 80% ) chilodonella (50% ) and I cthyophthirius (20% ) . The monogeenetic trematode, cichylidogyrus was serum constituents were returned to their normal levels one week post treatment.
