| Abstract |
In the present study the therapeuticefficacy of Ceftazidime (forum ) and florfenicol was evaluated in the teratment of Catfish (Clarias Lazera or clarias Garipenus ) artificially infected with Pseudomonas flurescence The in vitro antibacterial activity of these antibiotics was investigated by determination of minimum inhibitory concertration Mortality of fish were reduced significantlty by both antibiotics administered daily as compared with the conurol group the mortalities were oarticularly low Isolation frequencies of pseudomonas fluorescence in each group during abd after medication indicated that both antibiotics seems togive good protection against pseudomonas fluorescence infection in catfish.
