| Abstract |
The main objectives of the Study were to : determine level of the respondent's needs of knowledge and implement concerning methods of using integrated pest Control . Also determine the relation between the respondent's scores of these needs and some of studied independent variables .
The study was conducted in three villages representing three districts in Al Sharkia Governorate and were selected randomly. Data were collected from 190 farmers by personal interview using pretested questionnaire during October 2006.
The results showed that level of the majority of respondent's Knowledge needs concerning suitable agricultural operations and laws a biding methods and mechanical methods ranged from low to moderate But the level of implement needs concerning Biological methods and chemical methods ranged from moderate to high . The results showed that the following independent variables were affecting the respondent's knowledge needs educational status , the score of satisfaction of economic recapture of cotton , the score of information resources
concerning methods of using integrated pest control the score of non formal participation in society activities and the score of modernization .
The results showed that the level of the majority of respondent's implementing needs concerning suitable agricultural operations and laws abiding methods and mechanical methods ranged from law to moderate. but the level of implementing needs concerning Biological methods and chemical methods Ranged from moderate to high .
The results showed that the following independent variables were affecting the respondent's implementing needs : educational status , the score of satisfaction of economic recapture of cotton , the score of the exposure of information resources concerning methods of using integrated Pest control and the score of modernization Many Recommendations were set at the and of this research.
