Arabic : استجابة محصول الأرز و مكوناته للتسميد الحيوي
Abstract ABSTRACT Field Experiment were conducted at Experimental Farm of Rice Research and Training Center, Sakha, Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt during 2002 and 2003 crop seasons, aimed to study the effect of Bio-Fertilizer application (blue-green algae and biogeen, bacteria as Azospirillum spp.) phosphoreen (bacteria as Bacillus spp.) on yield and its attributes of Sakha 104 rice cultivar grown under transplanting and broadcasted-seed rice. The main results could be summarized as follows: 1- Planting methods have significant effects on yield and most of its attributes Transplanting surpassed broadcasting method in grain yield t/ha. Number of spikelets /panicle and panicle weight. 2- Inoculation with biogeen, BGA and phosphoreen significantly increased rice grain yield and all characteristics under study compared with non-inoculation treatments. 3- The interaction between planting methods and bio-fertilizer treatments significantly affected on panicle length, No. of spikelets/ panicle, unfilled grain % and sink capacity. 4- Use of biogeen, BGA and phosphoreen could be reducing the application of NP-fertilizer without redaction in rice grain yield. Key words: Rice; Planting methods; Bio-fertilizer, Grain yield
