Abstract lnstrumental neutron aetivation analysis technique was used to determine some trace elements in seeds of jutee( corchorus capsularis ) . the seed samples were obtained from . Agricultural Research Center (ARC)G iza.Egypt. The analyzed seed samples were prduced from cultivation of three different strains, namely ; st. DC1105,st.JRC 7447 and St.PADMA. These strains were importey from Bangladesh. The Jute plant was cultivated in sandy soil in lsmailaya reserch station farm at may on two seasons 1999 and 2000 . the plant was irrigated with water from lsmailayacanal. The study was carried out to compare the influence of applying different kinds of fertilizerrs of different rates , i.e. mineral fertilizer and biofertilizer, on the uptake of some biologically important trace clements and to determine their concentration in the analyzed jute seed samples . Thcse elements were; Co,Cr,Fe, zu and others eight elements were analyzed quantiatively.
