English : Field application of combined vaccine containing corynebacterium and polyvalent clostridial vaccines in sheep
Arabic : التطبيق الحقلي للقاح المركب المحتوي على لقاحات السل الكاذب والكلوستريدم الجامع في الأغنام
Abstract A total 35 of yearling sheep in Dakahlia governorates were vaccinated by 4 different vaccines. Eight in each group and 3 kept as non vaccinated control group. GroupI was dosed by polyvalent Clostridial alum precipitate. Group II was dosed with polyvalent Closridial alum precipitate + Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis toxoid. Group III was injected by polyvalent clostridial without alum + coryne-bacterium pseudotuberculosis toxoid. Group IV was injected by cornebacterium pseudotuberculosis toxoid. All vaccines were used S/C in 2 doses with 3 weeks apart. Blood serum was collected from all sheep before vaccination, 2 weeks apart. Blood serum was collected from all sheep before vaccination, 2 weeks post2nd dose and then every 4 weeks up to 22nd week. Serum neutralization test detected antitoxins of (CI.Perferingens B; & D; CI. novyi; CI. septicum, CI. tetani and CI. chauvoei) up to 18th week post 2nd dose. Higher titer was showed at 2nd week post booster dose (2nd dose) in all groups, revealed Beta antitoxins in group I and III were 15 and 15 iu/ml respectively, Epsilon antitoxins were 15.1 and 15 iu/ml in group I and III respectively, while CI.novyi and CI. septicum antitoxins recorded in groups II were 12 and 5.7 iu/ml respectively, CI. tetani antitoxins showed in group I (14.5 iu/ml) and CI.chauvoei agglutination antibodies in group I(0.01ul/ml) and CI.chauvoei agglutination antibodies in group I (0.01 ul/ml). The microagglutination test was used for detection of C.pseudotuberculosis antibodies, which detected up to 22 weeks post 2nd dose. Higheer titer showed at 6th week's (1/150),(1/150,(1/200), in groups II, III and IV, respectively post 2nd dose. It could be concluded that combined vaccine of Clostridial antigens (CI. perferingens B&D; CI.novyi; CI.tetani and CI .CHAUVOEI) and C.pseudotuberculosis toxoid is conomically more acceptable and preferable for savine time by vaccination against more than one dosease.
